Cashmere is woven from the fine undercoat of mountain goats found at altitudes above approx. 11 500 ft. in Nepal and Tibet. The extremely soft feel, capacity to absorb dyes and light weight characteristics of Cashmere has earned itself a reputation around the world.
The mountain goats possess a double coat of hair. Since the exterior part is subject to the harsh winter, it is dull, rough and coarse. The inner coat however is soft and fine and provides excellent insulation. During the spring these goats shed their winter coats and the fine inner hair is hand-combed and separated without harming the goats. The Cashmere fibers that are extracted are approx. 13.5µ-15.5µ. The common natural Cashmere colors include gray, cream, black, brown and white.
After the completion of the collection and de haring process these fine Cashmere fibers are then spun into a yarn which is used to weave our products. Products are weaved differently as per the latest styles and trends or per the demand. The different types of weaves include but are not limited to:

Quality counts: The quality of a product cannot merely be derived by judging only the softness of the product since many factors play a key role in creating flawless goods like fiber strength and length, the methods practiced to collect and separate the raw material and the species of the mountain goats it was harvested from. We believe that maintaining a good relationship with our Cashmere wool producers is of the chief importance and that they should be rewarded accordingly for supplying us the quality we pursue. Our producer’s hand-comb the inner coat in the spring when the goats are molting naturally while the external coat remains unharmed. This is not only advantageous for us since the produce is long, soft and lightweight but also for the mountain goats as their external coats will still serve them in the winter.
The Quality We Produce: We use high-quality yarn in our products. Generally, 28 nm yarn is spun for the production of our goods. However 42 nm, 54nm, 60nm, 80 nm and 100nm yarn is also spun. The fiber length is 32nm-36nm and the Cashmere purity is 98%. We supply our products as per the requirement and selection of the client.
